Hello, Coyote Ridge Families and Community Partners!
My name is Chelsea Cox, and I am honored and humbled to be chosen as the inaugural principal for Coyote Ridge Elementary School. I have been in education for the past 17 years and have known that education was the path I was meant to take since childhood. During my career I have been a classroom teacher at the middle and high school levels, I served as an instructional coach, a TIER II interventionist and currently I am associate principal at a junior hight school All these opportunities have paved the way for me to becoming the head principal at Coyote Ridge, slated to open to Students and Staff in the Fall of 2024.
I believe that recognizing students where they are and then working to grow each and every one of them is the key to creating successful programs that will establish a culture within our school where students strive for more and achieve more because it is a goal that they want for themselves and have the backing of the entire school to help them reach those.
We will work hand in hand with families and the surrounding community to create opportunities for students to be successful and to push themselves to reach higher than they ever thought possible. I look forward to seeing what our students will become in the future while making sure to honor where they are in their own educational careers.
Together we will navigate a path to discovery and success!
